Rosemary Arnold learned to fly fixedwing at Bankstown, Sydney in 1962 flying the Cessna 172, Cessna 182 and the Piper Cherokee PA 28 and in 1964 did 100 hours aerobatics on Chipmunk at Royal Areo Club NSW.
In 1965 Rosemary became Australia's first woman helicopter pilot when she switched to rotarywing craft and learned to fly a Hughes 269A helicopter in 4 weeks and in 1967 attained her Commercial Pilot Licence for both fixedwing and rotarywing (land, sea, turbine).
In 1983 she moved to live in the USA and in Las Vegas, Nevada started her own Air Charter Company HELICOPTER PROMOTIONS INTERNATIONAL flying a Hughes 500D.
